The future is bright for these two – and, thanks to them, the future is brighter for contemporary chamber music. ”

— Brad Wells (Founder/Artistic Director, Roomful of Teeth)

Room to Spare performs original groove-based new music that draws on a wide variety of musical vocabularies from jazz and contemporary classical to folk, rock, and prog-metal.

Having performed steadily throughout the New England area over the past 18 months, Room to Spare is excited to bring their music to a wider audience over the course of the 2019-2020 season. In the spring, they will be touring to New Mexico and California, where they will be the Ensemble in Residence at University of California Riverside for Riverside’s annual composition symposium. Other upcoming projects include a residency at the University of New Mexico and a collaboration with New York based guitarist Noah Berman.
